Catalysis division NCL is actively engaged in end-to-end design of new catalytic materials, its testing, scale-up and to final commercialization. The design of materials is focused on applications related to energy, environment, specialty chemicals and utilization of bio-derived feedstocks. Fundamental understanding of these materials include detailed surface spectroscopic investigations at in-situ or operando conditions using state-of-the-art facilities like ambient pressure X-ray Photoelectron Spectrometer (APXPS) and related techniques.
